    After reading Live it, Not Diet and seeing great results I had to go and get Sheridan s new book His last book was fantastic and really helped me in my fitness journey this book is just as good if not better This book carries on the evolutionary approach to health and fitness from Sheridan s other books and adds to it The main aspect this time is physical movement health Going over fundamental primal movements and exercises to boost overall health is the name of the game here The bits about posture have been unreal for me, I ve sorted out my minor back pain and I m sure I am taller.The evolutionary approach to health that Sheridan takes, i.e do the things that we are evolved to do, just make logical sense to me More than that, I have seen real results in following Sheridan s methods Everything that is claimed and advised in the book is backed up by quality research so you know you are in safe hands All the movements are well complimented with graphics that makes everything easier to understand I really enjoyed the book and like I say am seeing results from what is in here If you want to get fitter and healthier, I wholeheartedly recommend this book.

    The book goes through a list of science backed principles to achieve long term fitness and health I ve been following them along with the nutrition plan outlined in Live it not diet which I also highly recommend and managed to lose weight while gaining muscles and strength.I like the progression in the workout plans which means that it is not intimidating to star with or when getting back to it if you fall off the waggon I also really liked the minimalist approach to fitness, I was a bit skeptical that I could achieve anything going two times a week, but after three months the results are visible and even important I feel I can follow this forever.The science backing each principle made the book interesting to read I personally didn t connect much with the whole referencing of ancestors but that didn t get in the way of enjoying and learning tonnes of good stuff.

    I have been trying to improve my lifestyle recently through food and exercise recently and have found Mike Sheridan s books to be really helpful in understanding what my body does and doesn t need I am definitely one of those people who believe that in order to carry out regular exercise, I d need loads of spare time and an expensive gym pass, so I have been putting it off Reading this book has given me the confidence to get stuck into it without feeling like I ve got to give up loads of time to get to where I want to be with my body.I love the fact that all of his books go hand and hand and putting all of the aspects together in order to improve my lifestyle really works I now understand about health, diet, exercise and fitness and would highly recommend these books to anyone who wants to know and understand their own bodies better.
