I really enjoyed this book The story moves with pace and the colourful characters and places fill the pages Emma didn t chose an easy life afloat and we get a sense of the hard work in some of her boats, and , unmentioned, the work involved in recording material for this book It was also an adventure not without personal risk, and whilst this adds zest to the story, one imagines that not everyone who follows this route to happiness, will find quite as positive an outcome But Emma is a skilful journalist and by the by, a decent sailor too and I felt that she can tell a good story, which for this book, is all that matters I hope that there is a sequel.

Really enjoyed this book, as well as some sailing information, I also learned about the areas she sailed in and the way Emma wrote the book made it interesting and an exciting read However, I then leant this to my boyfriend who wasn t so keen as he said it was about relationships her next one, rather than sailing So as long as you want a real life travel story which incorporates sailng, then I found it very entertaining.

I love it when I find a book which captivates me so that I don t want to put it down, if I could measure how much I m enjoying a book by the number of nights I m kept up late reading and then thinking about what I ve read then this book wins hands down Nowadays it seems hard to find a book like this which is well written and therefore easy to read fast paced you ll feel like you re globetrotting with the author and has some real substance and a life message, it s so, so much than the normal chick lit which you might decide to pick up at the airport on the way to your holiday You just might find yourself inspired by this real life adventurer.Have a read for yourself and you ll see what I mean.
